#Sania Mirza-Cara Black 2nd in Race to WTA Year-end Finals

Sania Mirza and her Zimbabwean partner on Monday became the number two team in the Race to Singapore for the WTA year-end finals in November.

Sania and Cara won the Portugal Open and reached the quarterfinals of the Madrid Open last week. They now have 2,462 points and trail behind Italy’s table leaders Roberta Vinci and Sara Errani, who have 4,430 points.

Top eight pairs will compete in the year-end finals.
