Congress’ Lok Sabha candidate from East Delhi, Arvinder Singh Lovely files his Nomination!

New Delhi: (23/04/2019) Congress’ Lok Sabha candidate from East Delhi, Arvinder Singh Lovely held a roadshow ahead of filing his nomination papers for the forthcoming Lok Sabha elections in New Delhi.

Arvinder Singh Lovely will be pitted against BJP candidate Gautam Gambhir Lovely and Aam Aadmi Party’s Atishi.

Earlier on on Monday Congress announced the names of six candidates for Delhi Lok Sabha seats, where the Congress has fielded former Delhi chief minister Sheila Dikshit from North-East Delhi, Ajay Maken from New Delhi and JP Agarwal from Chandni Chowk. It has also fielded Arvinder Singh Lovely from East Delhi, Rajesh Lilothia from North-West Delhi and Mahbal Mishra from West Delhi.

Speaking to Media Arvinder Singh Lovely said,

“I welcome both the candidates from my opposition Gautam Gambhir and Atishi as they came to our home and our guests. For them elections are like picnic. People come for picnic and then go back home. Arvinder Singh Lovely was born here and will die here only.”

He further said, “My slogan for this election is” Har Ghar se mera nata hai, mujhe rishta nibhana aata hai”, we want India to get free from Narendra Modi and Delhi to get free from Arvind Kejriwal.”
