New session of Gautam Buddha University with new courses to start from 29th July

Greater Noida:  The admission process at Gautam Budha University is going on and a large number of students are turning out for the ongoing counselling in the campus. Many of the courses are already full while some are about to.

This year the university has added new courses in their curriculum making a total of 94 courses offered. The newly inducted courses are M.sc in Molecular medicine. Molecular Medicine program having 40 seats and for a total duration of 4 semesters (2 years). This is a flagship program in the field of Biotechnology characterized by interdisciplinary, practice orientation, and with the ambition to qualify for future excellent researchers and scientists in medical research. The school has introduced this program with an innovative course curriculum and will provide a practical and theoretical understanding of the most important current topics in molecular medicine.

For courses like B. Com, BSW, BA/BSc and MA/MSc and Mass Communication, Buddhist Studies, etc university will taking direct mode admission for which seat matrix (cut off list) will be declared on 26 June. All the qualified candidates have to complete the admission formalities online and will be called for document verification in the first week of July.

While counselling for the courses in which admission is being taken through the entrance is going on and for now in B. Tech 425 seats out of total 540 seats are full. Only reserved category seats of OBC, SC and ST are vacant and are expected to get filled in the next counseling. In BA.LLB also 110 seats out of 120 are full.

Once counseling gets over, a five day inductions program will begin for students from 23rd July and from July 29th formally classes will be started. For your information on May 18th University had organized an entrance test and the result got declared on 25th May. Since then the counseling process is going on and some rounds are yet to be done.
