For second consecutive day, Covid positivity rate increases in Delhi

New Delhi (21/12/2021): For 2nd consecutive day, Delhi clocked a positivity of 0.20% on Tuesday. It was last seen on June 22 when the 2nd wave was just ending.

In June when such positivity rate was witnessed, Delhi had done ~68000 tests. Currently it’s done 51544 tests

As of now there have been 600 covid cases in Delhi in just 1 week. Meanwhile, the scientist who had first discovered Omicron has said that the maximum patient suffering from it are unvaccinated.

“Nine out of 10 patients of #Omicron in ICU in South Africa are unvaccinated,” said Dr Angelique Coetzee, who first detected Omicron.
