Christmas Float in Greater Noida Spreads Message of Peace, Love and Hope

GREATER NOIDA News (24/12/2025): The Christian community of Greater Noida organized a vibrant and spiritually enriching Christmas Float on Sunday under the leadership of Fr. Andrew Correia, Parish Priest of St. Joseph’s Church, Greater Noida. The procession was held to celebrate the Nativity of Lord Jesus Christ and to share the universal message of peace, love, hope, and harmony associated with the Christmas season.

The beautifully designed float symbolically depicted the sacred birth of Jesus Christ, capturing the essence and spiritual significance of Christmas. The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from members of various Christian denominations and church groups, including Catechism children, the Youth Group, Chotanagpur Community, Syro-Malabar Church, and parish members.

Students, teachers, and staff from several Catholic educational institutions also took part in the procession, adding to its grandeur and unity. Prominent participating schools included St. Joseph’s School, Jesus and Mary Convent School, Ursuline Convent School, Bethany Convent School, Fr. Agnel School, and St. Francis School. Their involvement reflected strong communal bonding and religious devotion.

Through the Christmas Float, the community highlighted the core spiritual message of Christmas — that Lord Jesus Christ came to save humanity and liberate mankind from sin, sorrow, and suffering. His life and teachings, rooted in compassion, service, and love for the poor and the marginalized, were emphasized as guiding values for society. The message encouraged people to embrace peace, mutual respect, and harmony in their daily lives.

The procession passed through several prominent areas of Greater Noida, drawing the attention of residents and spreading the true spirit of Christmas across the city. People from different communities were seen appreciating the message of unity and goodwill conveyed through the event.

The Christian community expressed sincere gratitude to the Greater Noida Industrial Development Authority (GNIDA) and the local police administration for their cooperation, security arrangements, and logistical support, which ensured the smooth and peaceful conduct of the procession. The Christmas Float emerged as a powerful symbol of faith, celebration, and communal harmony, reaffirming the timeless Christmas message of peace on earth and goodwill towards all.
