Unifest 2026 to Illuminate Galgotias University with 3 Days of Talent, Competition & Live Concerts

Greater Noida News (07/04/2026): North India’s biggest college festival, Unifest 2026, is all set to transform the campus of Galgotias University into a vibrant hub of creativity, competition and entertainment from April 7 to April 9, 2026. Hosted at the university’s Yamuna Expressway campus in Greater Noida, the three-day festival is expected to attract over 25,000 students from more than 50 institutions across North India.

Organised by Galgotias Educational Institutions, Unifest has evolved over the years from a traditional campus celebration into one of the region’s largest youth festivals. The event celebrates talent, innovation and student culture through a dynamic mix of competitions, performances and interactive activities.

This year’s edition revolves around the “Neon” theme, promising dazzling stage designs, vibrant lighting and a high-energy ambience across the university grounds.

Festival of Talent and Creativity

The festival will feature more than 50 competitions and performances, spanning dance, music, fashion, theatre, literature, technology, gaming and management skills. Students will compete in high-energy contests such as Savage Floor, Swarotsav, Symphonic Assault, Gully Boy, Glamwalk, Cosmic Runway, Awaaz-E-Sadak and Manthan.

Creative minds will showcase their artistic abilities through events like Graffiti Wars, Scribble Syndicate, Flipverse and Khayaal, while media and content creators can participate in competitions such as Pixel Perfect, UniWalk, Reel-O-Radiant and the “Unifest in 60-Second” Mini Vlog Challenge.

Technology and Gaming Competitions

Technology-driven contests will also be a major highlight of this year’s festival. Events including IoThon, Robo Chef, Robo Soccer, Bluetooth Grand Prix, CSS Battle, Hacker’s Quest and the Galgotias Programming League will give students a platform to demonstrate their technical expertise and innovation.

Meanwhile, esports enthusiasts are expected to flock to tournaments like the BGMI Tournament and Valorant Tournament, adding an exciting competitive edge to the festival.

Fun, Challenges and Campus Activities

Beyond competitions, Unifest will host several engaging activities such as Treasure Hunt, Campus Quest, Mini Carnival, Hit or Miss, Best Out of Waste and Interns & Insanity, offering students opportunities to collaborate, network and experience campus life beyond academics.

Live Concert Nights

Each evening of the festival will culminate in grand live performances on the main stage. Popular singer Darshan Raval will headline the closing concert on April 9, while actor-DJ Ali Merchant will perform live on April 8, adding star power and excitement to the celebrations.

Organising Committee Leading the Festival

The festival is being strongly coordinated by Student President Saksham Saxena, who is leading the organising committee along with a dedicated team of students including Sarvagya Kumar, Dakshita Gupta, Saurav Kumar, Priyanshu Bharadwaj, Viraj Singh, Akshat Mishra, Abhay Katiyar, Lavanya Ojha, Shikhar Singh, Rohan Anand, Abhinav Mishra, Aditya Raj, Devanshi Pandey and Hibban Ali. Their collective efforts have played a key role in planning and executing the large-scale event.
