Afghanistan defeats Ireland in first ODI

Greater Noida : During the first ODI played between Afghanistan and Ireland, Afghan squad defeated Ireland by 30 runs. First one day played at Shaheed Vijay Singh Ptahik Stadium here.
Concluding on the losing side, William Porterfield was awarded the Man of the Match for his historic century. He stated that they should have won the match.
Afghanistan’s player, Asghar Stanikzai said that his players played really well and credits goes to Dawlat Zadran and Rashid Khan for exceptional performance.
Dawlat Zadran bowled an excellent spell with the ball and picked a 4-wicket haul.
