Following the complaint the school removed the posters from the pillars.

NMRC, Executive Director PD Upadhyay said that the administration of Makoons Play school in sector 76 Noida, has pasted admission posters on the pillars of sectors 50, 51 and 76. The pillars looked unpleasant due to defacement. We have also placed ads in newspapers and advised people against pasting such ads on metro pillars”.

Girija Shankar Tripathi, SHO sector 49 police station said, “an FIR has been registered against the school administration, earlier we have also received a similar complaint under Prevention of Damage to Public Property Act. We have clubbed the applications and are investigating the matter”.

The school administration however apologized for the act and said “our head office had hired a vendor for outdoor advertisement, and the vendor inadvertently defaced the metro pillars with posters. We have cleaned the pillars as soon as we received the information”.
