All India Technical and Management Council (AITMC) organized a Corporate Summit in collaboration with Electronics Sector Skill Council of India (ESSCI) at Hotel Shangri-La, New Delhi on 4 June 2016.
The event was also jointly supported by NSIC. The Corporate Summit highlighted the present Innovations that have been made in the field of Electronics.
The chief motive of this summit was to help the group of institutions who are facing a lot of problems in admissions, placements, and facilities and are going through financial crisis. The key highlights of this event were the present innovations that have been made in the field of Electronics. Around 70-80 engineering institutions participated in the corporate summit.

Sh. Shyam Jaju Ji, Hon’ble National Vice President (BJP), being the Guest of Honor addressed the gathering with the Skill India, Digital India & Make in India initiative. He talked about the importance of skill development in the rural districts and said to join hands and support the initiative for the Nation upliftment.
A panel of eminent speakers from the industry, focused on the major concerns of the educational institutions.
 Sh. N.K Mohapatra, CEO,ESSCI talked about how this event brings unique opportunity for the Education Institutes to participate with Govt . of India skill India innitiative. This will provide ease of genuine mobilization and throw potential for the youth to acquire competency to build creer options during regular curriculum.

 Mr. Sunil Vachani, Managing Director, Dixon addressed the gathering with the problems faced by the nation in terms of employment. It talked about the AITMC’s approach towards this initiative and how Dixon can help and support the vision of AITMC.

 Mr. Sanjeev Sehgal, Managing Director, Sparsh talked about Skill India, Make in India & Digital India and to provide support to AITMC.

Some of the principal elements that were discussed were-
• Direct MOUs of Institutions with ESSCI to bridge the gap between the Institutions & Corporate Houses to promote Skill India, Digital India & Make in India.
• Corporate houses will be joining hands with AITMC to establish labs with the latest
equipment available in Engineering Institutions. AITMC will also be providing training to the students as per the Industry requirements to get the readily available workforce to save training time & cost.
• Startup of “EARN while you LEARN” Initiative by AITMC to motivate every student
of electronics and the electrical stream where they will get a stipend during their
training period.
• Govt. of India has many schemes for skill development for the welfare of the youth. We are trying to connect Skill India with Rural India to increase employment.
• AITMC in association with ESSCI have a vision to make a self sustain model where students will get hands on training and will get attractive performance based stipend.
• AITMC skills Pvt. ltd will invest in institutions to upgrade their labs as per industry requirements.

AITMC focuses primarily on auxiliary skill development and provides skill based training. AITMC plays a vital role by providing skill development to more than 2 million people across India through its 27 Centers of Excellence. (COE). These Centers bridge the widening divide between those who have access to opportunities and employment.

As government policies form the foundations of a strong economy, AITMC also ensures that the interests of Indian industries and trade organizations are put across to the Indian Government, regulatory authorities and the community in order to influence business policies, and entrepreneurial and employment opportunities. Having secured a unique position at a national level, AITMC is able to pro-actively convey industry viewpoints, and communicate and debate issues relating to public-private partnerships for economic development.
