(12/04/17) Noida : Alok Sinha, Divisional Commisioner of Meerut has been appointed as the new Chairman of the Noida authority.
Other than being the chairman of Noida authority he will also oversee the rehabilitation and industrial development and NRI department as principal secretary.
A UP cadre IAS officer of 1986 batch, Alok Sinha has also been the chairman of Airport Authority of India in 2014.
At the end of his central deputation he has also served as Joint Secretary in the Ministry of Civil Aviation.
His posting as Chairman of Noida Authority is being seen as a major push to Jewar Airport project. The move also shows Yogi governments seriousness about the rapid construction of the much-delayed project.
