Alpha 2, Greater Noida residents protest against extortion in sector

Many residents of sector Alpha-2, Greater Noida protested at Greater Noida Authority gate against extortion and continuous closing of gates in the sector.

Members of Bhartiya Kisan Union (Ambavat) and Samajwadi Party also joined the residents in their protest.

Bacchan Bhati said “An illegal RWA is formed by some members of the area who indulge in Extortion from the shopkeepers and vendors of the region. Even authorities doesn’t listens to the complaints and in-return asks the business men to pay the amount. We want this atrocity to stop now”.

Protestors also alleged that many gates of the society are kept closed throughout the day and night and night and hence cause inconvenience to the residents.
