Bhilai Steel Plant CEO removed a day after 11 workers die in blast

Bhilai Steel Plant CEO M Ravi was removed on Wednesday, a day after the gas pipeline blast took 11 lives. On Tuesday, nine people had died and 14 others were injured in the explosion. However, two more employees, who suffered 80% burns, succumbed to their injuries later. The plant’s GM (Safety) and Deputy GM (Energy) were also suspended.
