New Delhi (10/11/2019): BJP targeted the Congress for questioning the verdict of the top court on the Ayodhya case earlier today.

BJP’s Sambit Patra alleged that Congress party, through its well-known newspaper National Herald, has questioned the SC’s decision on the Ayodhya case.

The BJP alleges that the Congress party through a newspaper article has conveyed that the apex court has given the same decision that VHP and RSS wanted.

Speaking to the media, spokesperson Sambit Patra said that, ‘Congress is trying to say through National Herald that the Supreme Court gave the same decision which the VHP and RSS wanted. Calling the Supreme Court of India by the Congress Party newspaper a Supreme Court of Pakistan is a shame.”

Patra also attacked the speech given by Congress leader Navjot Singh Sidhu in praise of Pakistani PM Imran Khan during the inauguration of Kartarpur Corridor.

Sambit Patra said that ‘Sidhu said in Pakistan, what will you get by killing someone if you want to kill them then kill with sorrow … what kind of words are this?’

BJP spokesperson Sambit Patra also criticised Sidhu’s remarks praising Imran Khan and describing him as the king of hearts. Sidhu had said, “Sikandar (Alexander) had won the world with fear and you won the heart all over the world.”

Patra alleged that by making such remarks, Sidhu sought to show Pakistan and Khan on a higher pedestal than India.
