The problem of home buyers seems to be left with no option to solve it, as even after 10 long years, the grieving buyers are still struggling to get their dream homes from their hard earned money invested. In one instance the buyers of Wish Town project of Jaypee Infratech Ltd. which is declared insolvent two years back are waiting for the possession of their flats booked in 2008 and afterwards.
The buyers invested their lifetime savings in the project and booked flats according to their pockets as the Wish Town project promised them a variety of flats in different price slots. Some of them even got the possession of the flats but around 80% of the buyers didn’t got the possession.
After the company declared itself as insolvent, some lenders tried to bid for it but the main stake holder in the company IDBI bank shattering the hopes of 32,000 buyers rejected the bid. Since then the buyers are trying to find a sign of hope.
On 20th June the lenders and creditors meet to discuss the case but again the meet ended with no result. Seeing the conclusion of the meet the buyers decided to protest against the ignorant behaviour of the responsible authorities.
The buyers will protest on 23rd June at Jantar Mantar in New Delhi. Buyers demand an action and resolution to end this wait of buyers to get their dream homes.
