CBI denies claim that PM’s ‘blue-eyed boy’ helped Mallya flee

The CBI has dismissed Congress President Rahul Gandhi’s claim that the agency’s Joint Director AK Sharma, whom he called PM Narendra Modi’s "blue-eyed boy", helped Vijay Mallya flee India. Calling the allegations "baseless", the CBI clarified that the decision to change the Look Out Circular against Mallya was taken because they did not have sufficient grounds to detain him.
