CDE Programme on Facial Aesthetics organised at I.T.S Dental College, Ghaziabad
An informative CDE Programme on “Facial Aesthetics – Non Surgical Facial Transformations” was organized by the Department of Periodontology, I.T.S Dental College, Muradnagar on 26th February, 2019. This event was whole day long and was held in the Kalpana Chawla auditorium of the college.
This CDE Programme on Facial Aesthetics was organized very diligently. There were around 100 registrations for the program includingprivate practitioners, dentists, post-graduate students and Interns from various colleges.
The Speaker for this event was, Dr. Rajat Bhandari, an exceptional dental professional and a renowned international speaker who has conducted various such workshops on Lasers, Facial Aesthetics and Oral Implantology. He is CPD accredited trainer for fillers and President of Asia-Pacific Laser Institute, Taiwan – India Chapter.Currently, he is the Director at International Academy of Aesthetic Training.
There was a warm welcome of the guest by the Principal and the Director (PG Studies) of the college followed by lighting of the lamp.The grand show commenced by the Inauguration ceremony which was inaugurated by Mr. B.K Arora, Secretary of The I.T.S Education Group. The inauguration was accompanied by a melodious Saraswati Vandana , hailing the goddess of knowledge and wisdom.
A brief overview of the program was given by the HOD, Department of Periodontics , Dr. Nikhil Sharma. They greeted and encouraged the delegates with their warm and motivating words. The Principal also expressed that it is his dream to host scientific events like this regularly at the college. Honourable Secretary of I.T.S The Education Group Mr. Bhushan Arora addressed the gathering. He said as the awareness amongst the patients emphasized the increasing awareness amongst the patients is increasing, enhancement of facial and dental beauty is one of the primary elective goals of patients seeking dental care, so our aim is to provide holistic treatment to the patient .Then there was bouquet presentation to the invited guest and the grand CDE Programme began.
This comprehensive, one day CDE Programme prepares the students to successfully integrate Botox and Dermal filler treatments into the practice in future. Dr. Rajat Bhandari gave a deeper understanding of esthetic evaluation, diagnosis, appropriate injectable selection, a three-dimensional appreciation of the facial aesthetics as well as how to avoid and manage adverse events. The programme was complete and very detailed. The renowned International Speaker, Dr. Rajat Bhandari also gave an insight to Mesotherapy, Face lift, Platelet – Rich Plasma Therapy apart from Dermal Fillers and Botulinum Toxin by live demonstration on patients. Dr. Rajat Bhandari concluded the programme by thanking the college for organising such an informative and knowledgeable platform for the post graduates, Interns and other dental practitioners .At the end, Dr. Shubhra Vaish, Professor in the Department of Periodontology and Oral Implantology gave a heartfelt thanks to our guest speaker and gathering.

The Laser & Facial Aesthetic Clinic is one more step in this direction and was the brainchild of the honourable Vice Chairman of I.T.S The Education Group Mr. Arpit Chaddha and since the advancements in aesthetic dentistry have been nothing short of spectacular when you think about it, so to sensitize the students an informative and memorable CDE Programme was organized by I.T.S Dental College on 26th February, 2019
