CNG, PNG price hiked by Rs 3

Noida, 8th October, 2022: Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) and piped natural gas (PNG) prices in Delhi have been increased by Rs 3 each on Saturday in response to an increase in input natural gas prices.
The Rs 3 per kg hike in CNG price is the first in over four months, while the Rs3 per standard cubic metre increase in PNG price is the first in two months.
Besides Delhi, CNG and PNG prices have risen in Noida, Greater Noida, Ghaziabad and Gurugram.
CNG prices in Gurugram have been raised to Rs 86.94 per kg, while they have been raised to Rs 81.17 per kg in Noida, Greater Noida, and Ghaziabad.
The government amends gas prices twice a year — from April 1 to September 30 and from October 1 to March 31. The price for October 1 to March 31 is based on the average price from July 2021 to June 2022.
