Noida District Magistrate BN Singh has written a strong worded letter to Urban Development Minister Suresh Khanna highlighting failure of Noida Authority to take care of its civic responsibilities.

He has demanded that a seperate Municipal Corporation must be created for handling civic issues and NA must be freed from such responsibility.

Ten News has a copy of the letter which is fairly critical against the authority and minces no words to lay bare it’s incompetence at different fronts.

At a point it says, “From the recent Builder-Buyer issues it seems that in Institutional format Noida Authority isn’t even able to perform its sole roles of Authority in a competent way. In which case the ignorance of Municipal responsibilities seems obvious”.

The letter also demands that this is a very serious issue and Noida Authority must organise a one day seminar to take opinions of all stake holders of the city on this matter.

Former DM N P Singh has also written a letter in this regard before as well.
