EPCH India Pavilion inaugurated at Ambiente 2026 in Messe Frankfurt, Germany
New Delhi/NCR – 06th February’2026 – The Ambiente, 2026 got underway at Frankfurt and will conclude on 10th February’ 2026. The India Pavilion in Ambiente Fair, 2026 was inaugurated by Shuchita Kishore, Consul General, Consulate General of India, Frankfurt, Germany in the august presence of Dr. Neeraj Khanna, Chairman, EPCH; Dr. Rakesh Kumar, Director General in the role Chief Mentor, EPCH and Chairman, IEML; Sagar Mehta, Vice Chairman, EPCH; Avdhesh Chandra Agarwal, Chief Convenor EPCH; Members of Committee of Administration, EPCH: Ravi K Passi, Om Prakash Prahladka, K. N. Tulasi Rao, Rajesh Kumar Jain, Prince Malik, Naved Ur Rehman, Zeeshan Ali, Varun Sharma; Rajesh Rawat, Executive Director EPCH; Mohit Chopra, President, IHGF Delhi Fair Spring 2026; Yvonne Engelmann, Director Ambiente (Living, Giving, Working), Messe Frankfurt Exhibition GmbH and member exporters and visitors were present.

Shuchita Kishore, Consul General, Consulate General of India, Frankfurt, Germany along with the other official visited the EPCH pavilion and interacted with participants and was delighted with the large variety of Indian handicrafts products on display in Ambiente’26.
Dr. Neeraj Khanna, Chairman, EPCH shared that “Ambiente is one of the most important international fairs held in Germany where large number of international buyers visit to source their requirements and with such participation of Indian exporters at the fair increases the possibility of exports growth to the overseas markets. He added that the participants are displaying exquisite Gifts, Decoratives, Christmas Decoration, Fashion jewellery, wooden handicrafts items, textiles furnishing, leather products, lamps & lighting, ceramics, Incenses, bags and bathroom accessories in 3 sections – Living, Dining, Giving Sections at Ambiente 2026.
Dr. Khanna further shared that “The Council is also leveraging this global platform, with the support of the Consulate General of India, Frankfurt, to highlight the ongoing progress on the India–EU Free Trade Agreement, as it has the potential to improve competitiveness through tariff advantages and a more facilitative trade environment, further strengthening India’s position in the European market for our handicraft sector.”
Alongside EPCH India Pavilion inauguration, the Expo Bazaar Pavilion was also inaugurated by Shuchita Kishore, Consul General of India in Frankfurt, in the presence of Dr. Neeraj Khanna, Chairman, EPCH; Dr. Rakesh Kumar, Director General in the role of Chief Mentor, EPCH & Chairman, IEML and other senior officials. The pavilion highlights India’s expanding presence in global B2B e-commerce and cross-border trade, presenting a curated collection of lifestyle and interior products under the Expo Bazaar brand.
Dr. Rakesh Kumar, Director General in the role of Chief Mentor, EPCH & Chairman, IEML shared that “The purpose of our participation at Ambiente is to convert Indian Handicrafts visibility into business outcomes through structured buyer engagement and stronger exporter preparedness. Alongside the India Pavilion, the Expo Bazaar Pavilion showcases India’s growing strength in cross-border B2B e-commerce and modern trade channels, enabling buyers to access curated India Handmade collections through a more continuous, technology-enabled sourcing model.
Sagar Mehta, Vice Chairman, EPCH said that “Europe is a high-value market where buyers seek consistency in quality, timely delivery and compliance readiness. Rajesh Rawat, Executive Director, EPCH informed that “Ambiente 2026 – world famous Consumer Goods Fair showcases around 3000+ exhibitors worldwide. India’s participation in Ambiente’26 will add to the vibrancy and diversity of the fair and familiarize global manufacturers, retailers and brands with the robust entrepreneurship in Indian Home Decor, Gifts & consumer products industry and will open up opportunities for sourcing from India. He further informed Council’s participation with 45 member exporters at the fair is attracting visitors from across the globe.
