Galgotias College to host Dr. Abdul Kalam Inter-Tech University Sports Fest on Oct 23-24

Greater Noida, 22nd Oct: Under the auspices of Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam Technical University, Uttar Pradesh, Lucknow, the Dr. Abdul Kalam Inter-Technical University Sports Fest 2024-25 (AKTU Zonal Fest) is being organized at Galgotias College of Engineering and Technology, Greater Noida, on October 23 and 24, 2024. Around 2,300 participants from various colleges of the Gautam Buddh Nagar zone will showcase their skills in sports competitions such as athletics, badminton, basketball, chess, kabaddi, kho-kho, table tennis, and volleyball.

The Chief Guest for this prestigious event will be Sanjeev Singh, an Olympian and recipient of the Arjuna Award and Dronacharya Award. Singh has previously served as the High-Performance Director under the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports, Government of India, and as Senior Vice President of Tata Housing and Tata Realty. His experience and guidance will provide special inspiration to the event.
