Galgotias Educational Institutions Hosts Grand Convocation 2024: DRDO Scientist Dr. Manavendra Singh Inspires Graduates
Greater Noida, 16th March: Galgotias Educational Institutions hosted Convocation 2024 on Saturday to confer degrees to its students.
Dr. Manavendra Singh, scientist from DRDO, graced the occasion as the chief guest. Additionally, esteemed guests included Professor J.P. Pandey, Honorable Chancellor of AKTU. The program commenced with the lighting of the lamp and Saraswati Vandana. Professor J.P. Pandey, the Chancellor of Abdul Kalam Technical University, inaugurated the event.
Dr. P.K. Chaudhary, Director-General of Galgotias Educational Institutes, presented the institution’s report, highlighting the achievements of students in various fields at the state level. Over the past two years, our students have excelled like never before in events like Hakathon and won first place in regional and state-level debate competitions. In the field of sports, our institution’s team has shown outstanding performance at the regional level. A total of 588 students were awarded degrees. Mohammad Asim Quadri, Director of Galgotias College, introduced the chief guest, Dr. Manavendra Singh, scientist and DRDO’s chief.
In his keynote address, the chief guest shed light on the vast opportunities in the technical field and wished the students a bright future. AKTU Chancellor Dr. J.P. Pandey emphasized not only educational growth but also moral values. He encouraged students to face future challenges with courage and remain grateful to their teachers and parents.
CEO Dr. Dhruv Galgotia reiterated university’s commitment for holistic development of students and expressed the aspiration that every student would bring glory to their nation and Galgotias College worldwide.
Chancellor Sunil Galgotia extended heartfelt wishes to all students, pledging to uphold integrity, dedication, respect, tolerance, and enthusiasm for professional standards and ethics. He promised to serve the nation selflessly and enhance its dignity and honor.
