Galgotias University Leads the Charge in Educational Transformation with IDE Bootcamp, Igniting a Spark of Innovation in Teachers

In a landmark development poised to shape the educational landscape, Galgotias University, nestled in Greater Noida, Uttar Pradesh, proudly announced its designation as a nodal center for the forthcoming Innovation, Design, and Entrepreneurship (IDE) Bootcamp. Dr. K. Mallikarjuna Babu, the esteemed Vice Chancellor of the University, expressed his elation during a press conference, emphasizing the significance of this endeavor mandated by the esteemed Innovation Cell of the Ministry of Education.

Scheduled for April 4th to 5th, 2024, the IDE Bootcamp represents a pivotal collaboration between Galgotias University, the Council for Educational Innovation, the Department of Educational Education and Literacy, the Ministry of Education’s Innovation Cell (MIC), AICTE, and NCERT. Professor Awadhesh Kumar, Galgotias University’s Vice Chancellor, underscored the bootcamp’s intensive nature, designed to rapidly augment participants’ knowledge and skills in innovation, design, and entrepreneurship.

Distinguished guests including Shri Amitabh Nag, Chief Executive Officer of the Digital India Bhashani Division and Director of Digital India Corporation, Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology, Government of India, graced the Opening Ceremony. The Closing Ceremony will witness the esteemed presence of Dr. Anita Gupta, MD Consultant/Scientist G, DST, Government of India, embodying the nationwide importance of this initiative.

Smt. Meenakshi Sharma, the nodal officer of the program, outlined the comprehensive scope of the IDE Bootcamp, revealing participation from 165 principals, 83 teachers, and a cadre of specialists and trainers. Notably, this transformative event will engage educators from 165 schools across Uttar Pradesh, comprising Kendriya Vidyalayas and Government Inter Colleges, with representatives from 43 districts.

Galgotias University stands among four esteemed institutions selected by the Ministry of Education to host this groundbreaking IDE Bootcamp, alongside counterparts in Bhopal, Jaipur, and Mumbai. This convergence of educational leaders and innovators promises to catalyze a new era of pedagogical excellence and entrepreneurial fervor across the nation.
