The School of Liberal Education (SoLE) at Galgotias University hosted a cultural festival under the esteemed guidance of Dr. (Prof.) Anuradha Parasar, Dean of the School of Liberal Education, to celebrate its rich culture and foster creativity. The event was held on 7th March 2024, between 9:30 AM to 4:30 PM and provided an opportunity to students, faculty, and the community to come together in a joyous celebration of diversity and talent.

The event was inaugurated by Vice Chancellor Dr. (Prof.) K.M. Babu who set the stage for a day filled with engaging activities and vibrant performances. The event received support and best wishes from Chancellor Shri Sunil Galgotia, CEO Shri Dhruv Galgotia, and Advocate Aradhana Galgotia, highlighting the university’s commitment to promoting a culture of creativity and innovation.

One of the main highlights of the “Cultural Festival” was the ethnic walk, where students and faculty adorned traditional attire representing various states of India, showcasing the country’s rich cultural heritage. This was followed by an enthusiastic Garba session, where everyone joined the lively beats, creating an atmosphere of joy and positivity. The performances throughout the arts festival were spectacular, including dance routines, soulful singing, and captivating music that enthralled the audience.

The festival was enriched by a diverse array of stalls offering various products and experiences. From food stalls tempting taste buds with delicious offerings to stalls showcasing intricate decorations, from stalls promoting tranquillity to those advocating mindfulness, and from entrepreneurial ventures at the e-cell to empowering initiatives like Kuhu Aatmanirbhar, there was something to cater to every interest at the Cultural Festival.

In a unique twist, attendees were invited to try their hand at painting, transforming the surroundings into a vibrant canvas of colours and expressions. Additionally, a pottery session brought together the leadership, faculty, and students to create exemplary works, symbolizing a spirit of learning by hands-on experience and creativity.

The Cultural Festival was a testament to the collaborative spirit and boundless talent within the Galgotias University community. This event not only provided a platform to showcase talent but also promoted cultural exchange, collaboration, and empowerment.
