Gangster Sundar Bhati and11 gang members sentenced to life imprisonment

On Thursday, District court of Gautam Budh Nagar sentenced Gangster Sundar Bhati and his 11 accomplices to life imprisonment in the Harendra Nagar Murder case. This is the first time in Sundar’s criminal history, that he is getting sentenced in a case against him. Earlier, he always remained successful in escaping himself from imprisonment by pressurizing witness or due to lack of evidence.

Harendra Pradhan and his official gunner Bhudev Sharma were murdered on 8th February, 2015 in Niyana village. This murder was committed due to mutual rivalry. On the day of the incident, Harendra Nagar was in Niyana village of Greater Noida for attending a wedding ceremony accompanied by his official gunner Bhudev Sharma and another private gunner. When he was going to sit in his car, assailants from Sundar Bhati Gang shot him and his gunner. In the crossfire, one assailant also got killed on the spot. At the time of the incident, Harendra Nagar was Gram Pradhan of Dadupur Village under Dhankaur police station area.

Taking prompt action, police collected evidence and arrested all the accused gang members. A total of 13 miscreants, including Sundar Bhati, Singharaj, Rishipal, Yogesh, Ankit, Billu, Kalu, Vikas, appeared before the court on Monday. Manoj got acquitted in this case while the rest of the 12 were convicted by the court. This is being seen as a Major success for Greater Noida Police.
