GBN DM’s order to seal the border puzzles workers who commute between GBN & Delhi
Gautam Budh Nagar’s DM Suhas L.Y today issued an order to close Delhi / GBN border amid increasing number of Coronavirus patients in the district.
While the order clearly states the workers / services that are allowed to cross the border, it still created panic amongst daily commuters between GBN and Delhi due to the uncertainty about requirement for special pass and other things.
Many journalists have replied to the order copy posted by the District Magistrate on twitter, urging him to clarify a bit more on the guidelines for journalist who commute from Noida to Delhi or vice versa for work.
Many journalists travel from Noida to Delhi on work. Both PIB accredited and non-PIB. There was no restriction so far on their commute. Could you clarify what will be the status now?

Sir, I am a media personnel working in Delhi but staying at Noida. I have my Press card. Do I still need an additional E-pass? If yes then how can I apply for it.
Another thing is my office cab from Delhi to pick & drop me. What about them?

Some people employed with banks across the border are also puzzled as there is no mention of the bankers as an exemption to the order.
Dear Sir , what about bankers travelling from noida to delhi performing essential services , whether they will be allowed or not

Sir request your good office to kindly review the order as you are allowing non essential ministry personnel to travel but bankers who are essential you haven't allowed
