I.T.S Education Group’s Executive Director Dr. Vikas Singh named amongst Top 50 Distinguished Educators in higher education across India
Greater Noida, 03/12/19: I.T.S Education Group’s Executive Director Dr. Vikas Singh has been named as one of the top 50 Distinguished Educators in higher education in India.
Singh, who is an Higher Education Expert and is Experienced in Establishment & Growth of Multi-discipline Universities, has joined the likes of UGC Chairman Prof DP Singh and AICTE Chairman Dr. Vinay Shasrabuddhe in the coveted list which gets thousands of nominations from across the country.
Dr. Vikas Singh was named for the honor after uLektz Wall of Fame announced “Top 50 Distinguished Educators in higher education across India” for the year 2019. The initiative, which celebrates the achievements of distinguished educators in higher education across India, is split into two categories: “Top 50 Distinguished Educators in higher education across India” for the year 2019 and “Most Promising Educators in higher education across India” for the year 2019.
The initiative received thousand plus valid nominations from across India, of which few nominations were shortlisted and finally, over 106 educators were chosen, the organisers said.
The vision of this initiative is to celebrate the unique contributions of some of the educators in our nation India, who have not only helped enhance education and enriched the lives of thousands of students but also played a key role in bringing the positive impact in the higher education.
With this privileged honor, Dr Vikas Singh adds another feather in his cap of achievements including “Best Academician – Director in Punjab” by India Today Group In 2010 and “Life Time Achievement Award for Education Excellence” by Indian Economic Development and Research Association (IEDRA) amongst others

On featuring in uLektz Wall of Fame – Top 50 Distinguished Educators in Higher Education across India Prof. Vikas Singh said, “Higher education in India is going to see tremendous growth under the New Education Policy to be implemented next year. There is an enormous scope for growth for all new and old multi-discipline universities as the current Gross Enrollment Ratio (GER) which is about 25% right now will grow to 50% and above in the next five years. Now Indian higher education students are not only looking for suitable employment but are more and more interested in starting their own ventures. And hence it is essential for every private university to develop an ecosystem at the campus to incubate the innovative ideas of students and then support the start-ups with seed funding.”
