Greater Noida (9/5/2019): A meeting was held between officials of Yamuna Expressway Industrial Development Authority (YEIDA) and Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) for a detailed discussion over the Techno-Economic Feasibility Report (TEFR) of the proposed 35.64km Metro link between Greater Noida and the sanctioned Noida International Airport at Jewar.

The metro line expected to connect Jewar airport. It will originate at the zero point of the Yamuna Expressway at Pari Chowk and passes via Knowledge park 2 in Greater Noida. 32.27km of the route will be elevated, the remaining will be underground and a total of 24 spots has been identified as a metro station on the route. The estimated cost is close to Rs 7,000 crore which is to be completed by 2025.

In the meeting, the DMRC officials revealed that as per their traffic assessment reports around 28 to 82 thousand will commute between Greater Noida and Jewar Metro Rail link.
