New Delhi (India), April 28, 2023: India Expo Centre & Mart, Greater Noida hosted the grand inauguration of India International Education Expo 2023. The event commenced with a ceremonial lighting of the lamp by dignitaries, followed by a visit to different pavallions.

Hari Balachandran, CEO of the ICT Academy, graced the occasion as the chief guest and warmly welcomed all present at the first edition of this tech conference. He stated, “As borders between nations vanish and the internet expands, it is the perfect time to host this conference. In the coming years, new-age curricula and pedagogies will align with high-quality education that focuses on research collaboration, innovation, and high-quality learning. We shall also push for quality education, where students can learn from anywhere and in any way they wish, with a focus on microlearning and high stakes.”

Dr. Rakesh Kumar, Chairman of India Expo Mart, was another distinguished speaker at the event. In his welcoming address, he extolled the National Capital Region and the critical role that education plays in organizational development. “The current government has identified education as a bright way forward, and it has taken several initiatives to promote it. We give utmost importance to education as a central mart and have provided professional manpower to the industry with a focus on the right placements. We are running various programs for both local and global exports, promoting e-commerce, and supporting small businesses. Learning can take different forms, and our students are getting opportunities to attend universities across the globe,” he added.

Guest of Honour Peters Chen, Director of the Ministry of Education, ROC (Taiwan), shared his thoughts on education, stating, “We don’t have financial resources like India, but we put our human power as our resource. Taiwan invests 6% of its GDP in education, and we prioritize it above all else. It’s a pleasure for me to attend such a conference, as education is vital. In rural areas, the ratio of students to schools is 1:1, but in urban areas, it’s 1:3, which needs improvement. AI applications can help track students’ progress so that teachers can focus more on individual students. Without education, we cannot improve the quality of education.”

The India International Education Expo 2023 promises to be a fruitful gathering of experts and scholars from across the globe, paving the way for a brighter future in education.
