New Delhi (India), 13th May 2023: Riot Games, the creator of smash-hit computer games such as ‘League of Legends’ and ‘Valorant,’ has named A. Dylan Jadeja of Indian heritage as the company’s new chief operating officer (CEO).

Riot Games said, “We’re proud to announce that our current global president, A. Dylan Jadeja will become our next CEO later this year.”

Dylan will succeed Nicolo Laurent, the company’s current CEO, who has spent the past 14 years in various capacities at Riot, including six as CEO. He joined Riot in 2011 as Chief Financial Officer (CFO) and was promoted to Chief Operating Officer (COO) in 2014.

The CEO transfer from Nicolo to Dylan will take place over the next few months and should be completed by the end of 2023, with Nicolo remaining with Riot in an advising position, according to the business.

Dylan was designated President of Riot after the company’s founders shifted to co-chair duties in 2017. He has been a key leader in shaping Riot’s strategy and driving its culture forward.

Jadeja responding to his promotion said, “I’ve been here for more than 12 years, and in many ways, Riot is my home, a home I’m deeply invested in, fiercely protective of, and grateful for every single day.”

He further added, “As CEO, it is fair to assume that I may do some things differently than those before me, but I want to assure you that the goal for us, together, will not waver.”
