ITS Engineering College Celebrates World Entrepreneurs’ Day with Expert Talk on Social Entrepreneurship

Greater Noida, 21 August 2025: The Institution’s Innovation Council (IIC) of I.T.S Engineering College, Greater Noida, organized an Expert Talk on “Social Entrepreneurship: Innovating for People, Planet and Profit” on the occasion of World Entrepreneurs’ Day, celebrated on 21st August 2025. The event aimed to inspire students towards the concept of social entrepreneurship and its role in creating sustainable business models that balance economic growth with societal and environmental welfare.

The session was graced by Dev Khanduja, Co-Founder, Intelligentia Labs Pvt. Ltd., who served as the resource person. In his insightful address, Khanduja highlighted the importance of innovation in addressing pressing social issues while ensuring profitability. He shared real-world examples of social enterprises that have successfully created a positive impact on people, the planet, and business ecosystems. He further emphasized that future entrepreneurs must integrate ethical responsibility and sustainability into their ventures to generate long-term value.

The event commenced with a warm Welcome Address by Dr. Mayank Garg, President of IIC-ITSEC and Director of I.T.S Engineering College. Dr. Garg encouraged students to embrace entrepreneurial thinking and focus on innovative solutions that go beyond traditional profit motives to serve the greater good of society.
