JEE Main Exam 2020: Application process to begin in a week

New Delhi: The schedule for JEE Main exam 2020 has been released by National Testing Agency (NTA) on its official website nta.ac.in. As per the schedule, the online application process for JEE Main exam 2020 will begin on September 2, 2019. The detailed information for JEE Main is expected to be released soon on jeemain.nic.in.

The last date for submitting the applications for JEE Main 2020 exam is September 30, 2019. And, the candidates will get to download their admit cards from December 6, 2019 onwards.

The examination is scheduled to be conducted from 6 to 11 January, 2020 and the results are expected to be released on January 31.

Candidates must note that since 2019, NTA has been conducting the examination twice a year. They can now attempt JEE Main exam twice – once in January and then in April. However, it is not mandatory to appear in both the exams. They can choose to appear either in January or in April or in both the exams. If a candidate appears in both the exams, then the best rank of the two will be taken into consideration for further processing. This step is a great initiative in reducing stress level of the candidates as now they have two exam dates to select from and they can choose one according to their preparation level.

The JEE Main examination is now conducted only online and from 2019 the practice of conducting a paper-based examination has been discontinued.
