Founders and Directors of Kany Club, Anuradha Khanna and Madhu Goel are hosting a grand ‘Teej Mahotsav’ event at the La Cordiall Banquet, Cross River Mall, Karkardooma on 22nd July’2017. The key highlights of the event would include a vibrant celebration of Teej customs and rituals, Teej Queen Contest 2017, Lucky Draws worth Rs 10,000, Tambola, scintillating Dance performances, scrumptious cuisines, appetizers & beverages, assured return gifts, an ingeniously conceptualized Teej Special Shopping street, an Expert Artist for designing Teej Special Mehndi, an exciting Kala Chashma theme, and a Selfie corner.
Sharing more details of their event, Anuradha Khanna said, “Hartalika Teej is celebrated primarily by girls and women by dancing, singing coupled with other prayer rituals to hail and welcome the monsoon season. The monsoon festivals of Teej are dedicated to Goddess Parvati and her union with Lord Shiva. Teej refers to the monsoon festivals, observed particularly in western and northern states of India and Nepal. With various rituals and customs, the festival of Teej is celebrated to venerate the arrival of clouds, rain and nature’s greenery. For women, the Teej festival is all about making merry by dancing, singing and bonding with friends while dressed up in their resplendent best with henna-coloured hands and feet. The festivals are dedicated, in many parts of India and Nepal, to Goddess Parvati. We at Kany Club, take immense pride in extending a cordial invite to all the ladies in the vicinity to be a part of the glorious afternoon. For all the lady members enrolled for the Teej event, it will not only be a fun frolic event that they will cherish for a long time, but it will also help them provide a splendid forum to make contacts with other ladies from different walks of life. With ‘cultural integration’ holding the key in the present day scenario, Kany Club would play a pivotal role in ensuring close knit ties and bonhomie among members from different spheres of life.”
