Lok Sabha Elections 2019 Phase 2: Voting on 95 LS Seats in 11 states and 1 UT underway

New Delhi, (18/4/2019): Today, second phase of LS Polls is taking place in 11 states and 1 UT. People are voting to elect representatives on 95 seats.
Assam, Bihar, Jammu and Kashmir, Karnataka, Maharashtra, Manipur, Odisha, Tamil Nadu, Uttar Pradesh, Bengal, Chhattisgarh are the states which are voting today for phase 2 of elections along with a Union Territory Puducherry.
Around 1,600 candidates are contesting on 95 seats for the second phase of Lok Sabha election 2019. Former Prime Minister HD Deve Gowda, BJP lawmaker Hema Malini, Senior Congress leader Veerappa Moily, Rajya Sabha lawmaker Kanimozhi, Uttar Pradesh Congress chief Raj Babbar and National Conference President Farooq Abdullah are among the prominent candidates for Phase 2 Lok Sabha election 2019.

Assam is 26.39%,
26.2%. in Chhattisgarh,
24.31 per cent voting recorded in 8 constituencies of Uttar Pradesh.
Voter turnout in Manipur is 32.18%,
Polling percentage at 2 pm in 5 Bihar constituencies
Kishaganj: 40.3% Katihar: 37% Purnea: 42% Bhagalpur: 33% Banka: 40.16%
45.43 per cent polling recorded at Udupi-Chikkamagaluru LS constituency till 2 pm.
39.49% voter turnout in Tamil Nadu until 1pm
36.51 voting in 14 constituencies of Karnataka state till 2 pm.
