Lotus Boulevard residents show displeasure over IT department notice following builders enquiry

Income tax department served a notice to all the residents of Lotus Baulevard society, sector 100 asking them to present all the property papers in connection with the on going enquiry over the parent company Granite Gate Properties Pvt Ltd.


Granite Gate, a group firm of the 3C Company, is developing over 3,000 flats in this project, which was launched in 2010. The company has not been able to complete the project and went through insolvency and Bankruptcy. Many irregularities were found in the project and in connection with the same the real estate firm is going through a enquiry of Income tax department.

But now the income tax department has served notice to the residents who aren’t directly involved in with it. The department asked to provide document of property, agreement papers with builder, payment details along with bank statement and the source of payment. The residents are feeling harassed as they don’t have any direct involvement in this case.
