NGT seeks status of Gr Noida wetland mapping from govt

The National Green Tribunal (NGT) directed the UP state government on Monday to clarify the status of mapping of the Bil Akbarpur wetlands in Greater Noida, which has allegedly been encroached upon by real estate development projects. The UP state government had been issued orders earlier to undertake a joint exercise with various agencies for the preparation of a topographical map of the wetlands.
