NUMBER OF NCR TOWNS INCREASED BY NCR PLANNING BOARDS

Bhiwani, Mahendragarh, Jind and Karnal in Haryana are now a part of National Capital Region (NCR). Bharatpur in Rajasthan is also added to the block of NCR towns. The decision was finalised in the 34th meeitng of the NCR planning board on 20th January 2014. These cities would be on the path of being integrated by a single body :National Capital Region Transport Corporation;. The corporation would ensure rapid transport connectivity of all the cities in NCR. Apart from connectivity easy loans will be provided to the cities for upgradation of their infrastructure.
