On Gen Bipin Rawat’s b’day, Six Sigma healthcare releases ‘Armed Forces Book of Record’, showcasing tales of bravery

New Delhi, 17th March: Six Sigma Health Care Pvt. Ltd., a renowned healthcare consultancy firm, hosted the fifth edition of the Six Sigma Leadership Summit and Awards 2022 on March 16 at the Pullman Hotel in Delhi. The summit was hosted in commemoration of the country’s first CDS General Bipin Rawat. The summit’s chief guest was Union Minister Anurag Thakur and Ramdas Athawale. In addition, an excellent ‘Armed Forces Book of Records’ was published in remembrance of the valiant General Rawat. The Six Sigma Leadership Summit and Awards 2022 drew over 1,000 delegates and representatives from many countries including Vietnam, Nepal, Bhutan, China, Japan, and Malaysia.

The event began with a felicitation ceremony and was followed by the address of Adesh Kumar Gupta, president of the Delhi BJP. In his address, Gupta praised the efforts and spirit of Six Sigma Healthcare in recognizing the efforts and dedication of those who worked for the welfare of society during the difficult and unpredictable times of Covid. At the same time, he praised all award recipients, as well as the doctors and paramedics who worked tirelessly day and night to combat the Covid and pull society out of the pandemic.

Chief guest, Mr. Anurag Thakur, India’s Minister of Information and Broadcasting, began his remarks by praising medical professionals, scientists, doctors, health workers, and frontline workers for their contributions throughout the pandemic’s troubling times. Mr. Thakur expressed his gratitude to the Six Sigma Healthcare Program for hosting such events that congratulate, motivate, and encourage scientists, doctors, health professionals, and frontline workers to continue working hard for the well-being of society. Thakur emphasized the significance of cleanliness and handwashing regularly, and he complimented Yogi Adityanath, Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh, for his efforts in eastern UP to combat Japanese encephalitis. He also thanked Narendra Modi, the Prime Minister, for his efforts to promote medical education in the nation, which include the development of new medical institutions, including AIIMS, as well as a rise in the number of seats in UG and PG degrees. Finally, he thanked Dr. Pradeep Bhardwaj, CEO of Six Sigma Healthcare, for his efforts to deliver quality healthcare services to individuals living in high-altitude locations.

Doctor Pradeep Bhardwaj, CEO of Six Sigma Healthcare, began his remarks by paying gratitude to the armed forces, BSF, ITBP, NDRF, police personnel, physicians, nurses, and pharmacists, as well as the late CDS General Bipin Rawat. During his speech, Doctor Bhardwaj expressed his thanks to the Indian Army for giving training in mountain locations to Six Sigma personnel at the High Altitude Warfare School in Gulmarg. He informed everyone that this training is beneficial to Six Sigma personnel who give healthcare services to persons living in high altitude regions as well as older citizens who travel to such high altitude places for pilgrimage. Doctor Bhardwaj dedicated the book ‘Armed Forces Book of Record’ to late CDS General Bipin Rawat, which has been penned by distinguished Retd. Captain Bhardwaj, doctor Bhardwaj’s father. He said that every countryman will feel proud after reading this book. Finally, Doctor Bhardwaj concluded and explained the Six Sigma philosophy, which is that Six Sigma serves all sections of society, regardless of the patient’s religion, caste, creed, color, or place of origin.

Captain Yogendra Singh Yadav, PVC, thanked Doctor Bhardwaj for inviting him to the Six Sigma Summit at first. Captain Yadav also lauded the efforts of the physicians and paramedics for their incredible devotion and hard work throughout the Covid period, and he was quite kind to equate the efforts of doctors and paramedics to the efforts of God. Captain Yadav further stated the faith that every member of the armed forces has in the medics when they are out fighting for the nation’s security. Finally, he concluded that battles are won not by advance technology, but by the will and commitment of the soldier, and he feels that each Indian soldier’s will and dedication are supported by their belief in doctors of the nation.

Captain Bana Singh, PVC, initially lauded the efforts of Doctor Bhardwaj and Six Sigma for the manner in which they do social service, namely, they do not solicit contributions from anybody and instead work tirelessly for the benefit of society. Captain Bana also lauds Six Sigma’s relationship with the army, BSF, and CISF. Captain Bana stated that by serving in the army he has not done any favor to the country, but he was lucky enough to have the opportunity to serve the motherland. Captain Bana concluded by saying that no matter who you are or what your capabilities are, all you need to serve your country is a strong will and determination.

Mr. Ramdas Athawale, India’s Minister of Social Justice and Empowerment, began his talk with a humorous greeting to the audience. Mr. Athawale then paid homage to the late CDS, General Bipin Rawat, for his service to the country. He praised Six Sigma’s efforts to improve society’s well-being without relying on outside assistance, whether from government or non-governmental groups. Mr. Athawale also lauded Six Sigma’s efforts to create jobs for young people at its over 450 hospitals around the country. The Union Minister also praised Doctor Bhardwaj and Six Sigma for their efforts to provide free covid care centers during the epidemic. Finally, Mr. Athawale lauded Six Sigma for launching the “Armed Forces Book of Records” in remembrance of late CDS General Bipin Rawat.

During the Healthcare Mahakumbh, people were also made aware of the rescue operations conducted by Six Sigma High Altitude in hilly areas during natural calamities that how trained Six Sigma people work in any situation to save lives. Dr. Pradeep Bhardwaj told that Six Sigma High Altitude Rescue personnel work on the formula of ‘Work Hard, Train Easy’. He told that the people of Six Sigma who rescue people in the times of natural calamities work like an army. They are always ready to deal with any difficult situation. This time the best performing volunteers of Six Sigma High Altitude Medical Services, Chardham Yatra were honoured by Gold and silver medals by the Mountain Medicine Society of India. He also mentioned the work done by the volunteers and which volunteer worked for which medical post and for how long was also explained. Apart from this, officers of various organizations who supported the Six Sigma High Altitude Medical Service team were also honoured during the programme.

Last year, the team of Six Sigma High Altitude Medical Service provided medical facilities at Shri Kedarnath Dham, Shri Madmeshwar Dham and Shri Tungnath Dham during the Chardham. Six Sigma doctors treated more than 69,000 (seventy nine thousand) devotees during the Yatra.
