“Powerful congress leader” sought help to extend Priyanka’s stay at Lodhi road bungalow, says Hardeep Puri

India’s union minister for housing and urban affairs on Tuesday took a jibe against Priyanka Gandhi by revealing that he was contacted by a “powerful Congress leader” to explore options of extending Gandhi’s stay at the Bungalow.

Taking to twitter Puri wrote, “Facts speak for themselves!
A powerful Congress leader with much clout in the Party called me on 4 July 2020 at 12:05 pm to request that 35, Lodhi Estate be allotted to another INC MP so that Priyanka Vadra can stay on.
Let’s not sensationalise everything please.”

He was responding to Priyanka’s claims that they are not looking for an extension of their Lodhi road stay and would the government accommodation by the end of this month.

Priyanka is yet to respond to Puri’s claims.
