Minister of State (I/C) for Housing & Urban Affairs today announced Swachh Survekshan 2018 Results.
As of much awaited results Indore grabbed the much coveted first spot whereas Bhopal came second and Chandigarh third.
This year 2133 cities and urban local bodies have been certified has Open defection free.
Speaking at the occasion he said that, "As of date today we have constructed nearly 57 Lakhs toilets. which is 83% of mission target, which will be achived by October 2018".
Covering 4041 cities, this time the survey was much bigger than the previous two editions with several new award categories.
