The story of #Manjunath – a fighter against corruption

Manjunath is a warm, inspirational film based on the true story of Manjunath Shanmugam.

Manjunath was a young 27 yr old IIM graduate and sales officer at Indian Oil who was killed in Lakhimpur, UP, in November 2005 because he took a stand against corruption and fuel adulteration. After his death, the corporate community came together to fight his case and ensured all 8 accused were brought to book in a record 18 months.

A BITS Pilani, FMS ’93 alumnus, Sandeep Varma has written and directed this film on Manjunath.
