There is good news for the Noida metro commuters because third phase of metro is soon going to start between Botanical Garden & Janakpuri west. Now commuters can reach directly to terminal 1 of Indira Gandhi Airport through Magenta line. For Kalkaaji now they will get direct metro from Botanical Garden itself. Commuters going to Gurugram will also be benefited by this as they won’t have to change from the crowded station of Rajiv Chowk . Now they can reach Hauz Khas by crossing just 12 stations by Magenta line and from there to Gurugram by yellow line.
Till now commuters have to go Rajiv Chowk and from there they can board Airport Metro to Aerocity metro station. Thereafter they can take regular shuttle or taxi to domestic Airport. So now this service will not only save both TIME & MONEY of commuters but will also diminish the load of heavy traffic on road due to which people have to face jam for hours on daily basis.
Also people of Greater Noida will also be benefited by this as now they can also commute directly to South Delhi from Botanical Metro without going through the longer routes of Barakhmaba or Rajiv Chowk metro.
