Three died in Faridabad Factory by Sanjay Chaturvedi

Tragedy struck at the door of one of the industries of Faridabad that was getting prepared to start regular functioning after a week of festivity after Diwali and Bhai Dooj. At about 3.30 in the afternoon, during the usual cleaning up of the Sludge Pit attached to the paint shop in the factory of Yamaha Motors, located at YMCA Chowk in Faridabad, three men died. Sources in police department maintained that three men died in the incident that included one person of Manager Rank, while other two were contract labors. While the manager was identified as C.P.Sharma in his forties, the tow workers were identified as Raju Sharma and Sumit. There were four men also reported to be seriously ill and were admitted to the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) of Sarvoday Hospital. The bodies of the dead were sent to Government run B.K.Hospital in Faridabad for postmortem. While the families of the dead accused the company ‘Yamaha Motors’ of not providing any safety equipments, representatives of the company were not available for comment on this issue.
