Two-day “Greater Noida Short Film Festival” concluded at Galgotias University on Sunday.
During the second day, famous film director and screen writer Akash Aditya Lama interacted with the students in the form of a master class. Addressing the students, noted actress Supriya Shukla, who was present as the second chief guest, said that how to always maintain your self-respect while facing the challenges of the initial stages, establish dialogue with people, which will make you a different person. Show recognition from talking about the main topic of the Master Class, Scriptwriting, he told that we should first study and think deeply about the topic so that the scripting written by you can be successful in giving a message to the society.
Renowned actor Manoj Tiwari, the pillar of the program and the chief guest of today’s program, spoke eloquently on each and every aspect in his master class in front of the children. He said that cinema is the mirror of our society. That’s why we should emphasize on such films in cinema, which can guide the society in the right way by removing the evils spread in the society. He further said that Indian cinema works to connect us with the great genres of our Indian culture. And said that this beauty of cinema is giving name and glory to Indian cinema on the world stage as well. In the end, telling the most important thing, we should pay special attention to regional cinema so that the problems in cinema on regional basis can be solved.
Sunil Galgotia, Chancellor, Galgotias University said that today the heroes of the nation and the pioneers of the society and filmmakers have to keep in mind the fact that this popular medium should be used for building the national spirit.
University CEO Dr. Dhruv Galgotia congratulated everyone for the success of the program and said that if cinema effectively transmits the ideals of Indian culture and the present world situation to the people, then it will establish the ideals of peace and prosperity, happiness and equality can be done.
