UPITS 2023 Wraps Up with Phenomenal Success and Bright Prospects for UP’s Economy

Greater Noida, Uttar Pradesh – The inaugural UP International Trade Show (UPITS) concluded after five remarkable days, leaving a trail of impressive experiences and promising future business prospects. This debut trade show proved to be a transformative opportunity for exhibitors, buyers, and visitors, garnering overwhelmingly positive feedback from participants across diverse sectors. The event concluded on a resounding note with a valedictory session graced by dignitaries including Union Minister of MSMEs, Narayan Rane; MoS for MSMEs, Bhanu Pratap Singh; Nand Gopal Gupta’ Nandi,’ Minister for Industrial Development, Export Promotion, NRI, and Investment Promotion, UP; Rakesh Sachan, Member of the Uttar Pradesh Legislative Assembly; Amit Mohan Prasad, ACS MSME, Government of UP; and Rakesh Kumar, Chairman of India Expo Centre and Mart.

Day 5 of UPITS 2023 witnessed an unprecedented level of interest, solidifying its status as a significant economic event that highlights the immense potential of Uttar Pradesh.

In his address, Narayan Rane commended the UP Government’s visionary initiative, which inspires other states to host similar trade shows, benefiting their traders, industrialists, and entrepreneurs and bolstering the economy. He remarked on the remarkable development witnessed in Uttar Pradesh over the past few years.

Rakesh Sachan, while addressing the session, emphasized that the trade show had immensely benefited all traders and entrepreneurs, with a particular focus on the significant advantages accrued by small traders. He cited a heartwarming example of a woman entrepreneur involved in basket making who secured an order for 10,000 baskets from foreign buyers.

Nand Gopal Gupta stated, “Today, the world’s gaze is fixed upon India with hope. Uttar Pradesh is rapidly progressing toward achieving a one trillion-dollar economy. Our mission is to establish industries and provide a robust market for the products produced and manufactured by these industries.”

Rakesh Kumar, Chairman of India Expo Centre and Mart, extended his heartfelt gratitude to all the ministers, government officials, departments, administrations, associations, stakeholders, traders, and exhibitors for their invaluable contributions in making the show an astounding success.

The closing day also featured the exhilarating grand prize of a mega lucky draw – a TATA PUNCH car won by a visitor from Aligarh.
