If Facebook was a country, its population of over 1.3 billion users would make it the second largest in the world, marginally ahead of India and behind only China. But CEO and founder Mark Zuckerberg wants more — both for his company and for the internet.

“About 2.7 billion people have access to the internet. But that’s only one-third of humanity. Almost 4.5 billion people don’t use the internet,” pointed out Zuckerberg, in Delhi on a two-day visit to India — his first to the country. “Connectivity cannot just be a privilege of the rich and powerful. It is a human right.”
