Yamuna Authority celebrates its 18th Foundation Day

Greater Noida: On April 24, Yamuna Authority celebrated its 18th foundation day with zest by cutting the cake in presence of all officials and staff member. Yamuna Authority got established on 24 April 2001 under an authorized area comprising five districts from Greater Noida to Agra under including 1189 villages.

In this 18 year of a span, YEIDA gone through various ups and down and sustained various allegations but also initiated various scheme and development projects which provided a new dimension to business opportunities in this region.

Apart from this, the other side of authority is that when current CEO Arun veer Singh and Chairman Prabhat Kumar took the charge that time authority was in depth of 3200 crores. But they tackled the situation well speeded the work and bring down the loss to 2200 crores from 3200 crores. Now the much awaited Jewar Airport work also got started, within last one year YEIDA region has received more than an investment of 10 thousand crores. This will boost the employability of the region and it is estimated that it will create 5 lakh new job opportunity.
