5 MORE CHILDREN STAYING IN VARIOUS CHILDREN HOMES RESTORED/LINKED TO THE RESPECTIVE FAMILIES.

TOTAL 89 CHILDREN RESCUED UNDER OPERATION “MILAP” BY CRIME BRANCH.

PARENTS JOYFUL ON MEETING WITH THEIR CHILDREN.

INTRODUCTION:-

Crime Branch has succeeded in linking/restoring 5 more children staying in Children Homes of Delhi to the respective family under a special drive. The drive has been launched to check all the Children Homes in Delhi for matching their records with the available data of missing/kidnapped children and has been named as operation “Milap”. Several teams have been constituted in Crime Branch for linking such children staying in the Children Homes. Total 89 children have been restored/linked by Crime Branch under operation “Milap” so far.

During this special drive, Crime Branch officials checked each and every child in the Children Homes and make all out efforts to get any clue about their parents/home so that they can be restored properly. Further, local police of all districts of Delhi is being asked to screen and document all the children residing in the shelter homes, railway platforms, bus stands, roads, religious places, etc. Their photographs will be taken by the concerned police officials and documentation will be undertaken to link them properly.

TEAM AND OPERATION:-

Team of Anti Human Trafficking Unit (AHTU) led and guided by DCP Dinesh Kumar Gupta, consisting ACP Ranbir Singh, Inspector Kishore Pandey, SI Ashok Kumar, ASI Ramesh Kumar, HCs Rajesh, Jaivir, Jaibhagwan, Krishan and Ramesh checked various Children Homes in Delhi. On scrutiny of the records of children homes, the police officers zeroed down on the children whose details were incomplete or sketchy. These children were taken into the confidence and after compassionate persuasive conversation; they revealed clues about their native places. On the basis of the minor clues and details provided by them, their parents were contacted either through telephone or via local police stations.

Following 5 children were restored/linked to their families: –

(i) A boy, aged 11 years staying at ‘Paryas’, Children Home, Jhangirpuri, Delhi since 05-02-15, revealed his address JJ Colony, 5th Pusta, Khajoori, Delhi. The boy left home on his own six month back as he was not interested in studies. He was lodged in Paryas Children home from ODRS on 05-02-15. The team talked to the child, he reveled that his father is a rickshaw puller and resides in the JJ Colony of 5th Pusta, Khajoori, Delhi. On this information, the team searched his parents through the local enquiry by showing photograph of the child to different rickshaw pullers in the area of Khajoori. Thus father of the child was located and on 11-05-15 child is restored to his parents through CWC.

(ii) A boy, aged 13 years staying at ‘Aashiyana’, Boys Home-1, Alipur, Delhi since 27-02-15,

(iii & iv) A boy, aged 9 years & A boy, aged 13 years staying at ‘Subhikshika’ Children Home, Sector-

(V) A boy, aged 16 years staying at ‘Paryas’, Children Home, Jhangir Puri, Delhi since 08-05- revealed his address as Motia Khan, Delhi. He was lodged in shelter home from ODRS. He informed police team that his Bua (Aunty) is staying in Motiakhan and is having a tea stall near an old Tree. The boy told that he left his home on his own. The team searched the Bua (Aunty) by showing photograph of the child in the area of Motiakhan. His Bua (Aunty) told that father of the child is in jail in a murder case. She met the child in the shelter home on 05- 05-15. Thus the child linked to his Bua (Aunty). 16, Rohini, Delhi since 27.04.15. They were lodged in shelter home from PS Bawana. They revealed their address as Vill. Kheriwara Distt. Gaya, Bihar. The two boys told the team that they had come to Delhi with their friend and lost the way in the area of Bawana. One boy gave mobile number of his father. The team contacted on this number. On 06-05-15 both boys were restored with their parents through CWC.

15. The boy was lodged in the shelter home from NDRS. He revealed his address C-Block, Bhalaswa Dairy, Delhi. The boy told the team that he is living with his brother and mother at the above mentioned address. On this information, team reached at C-Block, Bhalaswa Dairy. Photograph of the child was shown in vicinity of C-Block, Bhalaswa Dairy. The team was able to find the parents of the child. His mother informed that her son is missing for the last two years. The boy is reported to have gone in Jamaat by parents. On 11-05-2015, the boy is restored to his mother through CWC. The operation ‘Milap’ is being pursued sincerely and consistently.
