564 FlR’s registered and 560 persons arrested under Excise Act: Delhi CEO Ranbir Singh

New Delhi: With the Model Code of Conduct (MCC) in effect, the Delhi Chief Electoral Officer’s office have Seized An amount of Rs. 50 lacs In cash.

addressing the journalists and apprised of the action taken under the preparations and code of conduct regarding elections said that,
“Till date cash of Rs 51,97000 has been seized, 298 numbers of unlicensed arms weapons and 2323 numbers of cartidges/explosives/bombs Have been seized. whereas 3893 licensed arms deposited, 40965 persons have been booked under various sections of CRPC/Delhi Police Act, as preventive action measures.”
He further said, “Till Date, 738 bottles, 67 Half, 81915 quarters of Indian Made Foreign Liquor (IMFL) and 475 bottles, 762 Half, 155458 quarters of Country liquor and 4861 bottles beer were also seized. More than 2 lacs hoardings, banners and posters are removed in all over Delhi.”
“A total number of 564 FlR’s have been registered and 560 persons are arrested in Excise Act,” added Delhi CEO.
