Greater Noida (22nd August 2025): In a significant announcement during the preparatory meeting for the 3rd Uttar Pradesh International Trade Show (UPITS) 2025, Additional Chief Secretary of Uttar Pradesh, Alok Kumar, confirmed that Russia will be the Partner Country for this year’s grand event. The trade show is scheduled to be held from September 25 to 29, 2025, at the India Expo Mart in Greater Noida.
A high-level review meeting Chaired by Uttar Pradesh Minister Rakesh Sachan was held today to assess the progress of preparations and finalize key aspects of the upcoming event. The meeting saw participation from district administration officials, event coordinators, and senior government representatives to ensure a smooth and successful Organisation of UPITS 2025.
Speaking exclusively to Ten News Network, Additional Chief Secretary Alok Kumar shed light on the purpose and scope of the Trade Show.
The UP International Trade Show is an opportunity for the world to witness the best of Uttar Pradesh’s MSMEs, artisans, and industrial sectors. The last edition received over ₹10,000 crore in business enquiries, and export orders worth ₹2,200 crore were materialized during the event. This year, we are committed to making the show even bigger and better, he said.
Key Highlights from the Review Meeting
Alok Kumar explained that the review meeting focused on assessing current progress and outlining the next steps. Important aspects discussed included:
Coordination with district administrations for visitors Managenent
Security and traffic management plans
Ensuring a seamless and enjoyable experience for VVIPS, guests , visitors and exhibitors
Minimizing disruptions to local businesses and institutional activities during the Trade Show
Finalizing infrastructure and logistics preparations
He confirmed that a final review meeting chaired by the Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh is expected in the last week of August or the first week of September, by which time all key arrangements will be completed.
