FOOD BUCKET CHALLENGE – Ryan Greater Noida

DSCN4053Ryan International School, Greater Noida organized the flagging off of Food Bucket Challenge Ceremony on 28th November 2014. The unique initiative launched under the visionary guidance of Dr. Augustine F. Pinto and Managing Director Madam Grace Pinto aimed to sensitize students to the needs of those who are less fortunate.

The ceremony was graced by Managing Director Madam Grace Pinto and CEO Ryan Pinto and along with famous former cricketer Mr. Madan Lal and commenced involving the Lord Almighty’s blessing through Bible Reading, Prayer and Praise and Worship Songs. The guests were welcomed with a sapling presentation, , which was followed by a welcome speech given by the President of Student Council. The school also sang the Food Bucket Challenge song to express their true feelings for the noble cause.

Addressing the young ryanites the Managing Director Madam Grace Pinto strongly focused on inculcating the importance of social responsibility amongst students and encouraged them to become change agents and initiate a positive differences by developing an attitude of selfless service to eradicate hunger from our country.

The aim to mobilize over one million kilogram of food grains mainly cereals and pulses had picked momentum at start, as the young ryanites lift no unturned to bring a million smile on the face of the underprivileged. Large hearted contribution were made by the students and teachers for being a part of this challenge.
